Grow Your Business
Growth Advisory for Energy, Data Centre and Infrastructure Businesses
Beyond recruitment, we help businesses already in the region, or arriving in it, decide where to focus, find the right partners and build a commercial team that can win work.
Who This Is For
Most of our growth work is with three kinds of business: international developers, contractors and technology suppliers opening their first Asia Pacific office; regional platforms adding a new country; and suppliers who have won on technology but are struggling to turn that into contracts here.
In each case the risk is less about market access than about the first few appointments, and whether the people hired can both open doors and deliver.
Our role is to help you make those decisions with a clear view of the market before you commit to them.
How We Help Businesses Grow
Market Entry
For businesses arriving in the region, our market entry work covers market assessment, the entry route and the first hires.
See APAC market expansionCommercial Strategy
Help deciding where to focus first: which countries, which customer segments and which route to market, based on what we see in live searches and client conversations across the region.
Business Development
Support for the commercial build out once you are in market, including how to structure a regional business development function that sells into utilities, developers and data centre operators.
Strategic Partnerships
Introductions to local partners, contractors and advisers we know through our work in the sector. In several markets a local partner shortens the path to a first contract more than any single hire can.
Building Leadership Teams
Growth depends on the first appointments. We run the searches for country managers, project directors and commercial leaders, sequenced with the market entry plan so the team and the strategy are built together.
How an Engagement Usually Runs
- 1.A first conversation about what you are building, where and by when.
- 2.A short market view: buyers, competitors, talent availability and cost in the countries you are considering.
- 3.A hiring and partnership plan sequenced against your entry timeline.
- 4.The searches and introductions themselves, run by the same team.
Advice Grounded in Live Hiring
Our view of each market comes from searches we are running and the candidates and clients we speak to every week, not from desk research.
It is the same view we publish in our Market Insights, including our papers on selling into Southeast Asia and on entering the ASEAN market.

- Which markets can you support?
- Singapore, plus Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines in Southeast Asia, and Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Korea in North Asia.
- Do you advise on financing or capital raising?
